You might want to try becoming more active in the community to get more page views and comments on your art...here are some ways:

-comment on others artwork
-checking out the forums
--the Thumbshare Forum is where people get together to comment on each others artwork.
-faving people's artwork when you feel necessary (but don't go overboard).
-the shoutbox to chat with people and make friends (can do so also in the forums).

also you can check out the dev status forum for up-to-date information on site status, admin changes and whatnot.
